High mountain hiking
You will never get tired of walking through the Tatra nature. In the High Tatras, more than 600 kilometres of marked hiking trails await you. The most famous Tatra Highway is 46 kilometres long and connects the most popular tourist spots - Podbanské, Štrbské pleso, Sliezsky dom, Hrebienok, Skalnate pleso, Zelené pleso and Biele pleso. Hiking trails will take you to the mountain valleys, high mountain huts, to the most beautiful Tatra mountains or to the peaks of two-thousand peaks.
Winter activities
Experience powder skiing on the highest ski slope in Slovakia with the massif of Lomnicky peak at your back! In the High Tatras you will find top ski slopes, opportunities for cross-country skiing, tobogganing, ice skating and even dog sledding. At the reception of the Hotel Lesná you will always find up-to-date information about the situation in the individual resorts and the possibility to buy ski passes to all ski resorts in the High Tatras.
Cycle routes
The High Tatras region offers up to 160 kilometres of cycling routes. Get on your bike and admire the Tatra panorama from a two-wheeled perspective. The paths will take you to the mountain valleys, but also to some alpine huts.
Golf
A noble sport in a beautiful alpine setting. Just a few kilometres from the Hotel Lesná is the championship 27-hole Black Stork golf course. There are practice areas, professional PGA coaches, a golf school, rental and golf equipment shop.
Outdoor map
Hiking enthusiasts will be delighted with the new outdoor map. You will find interesting routes for running, horse riding, Nordic walking, canicross or powerkiting. The map records more than 350 kilometres of trails in the High Tatras with precise delineation of natural paths, type of surfaces and destinations. Most of the trails are suitable for all ages and families with children. The map can be obtained at the reception of Hotel Lesná.
Bachledka Ski & Sun
A year-round mountain resort where you can admire the unique highland culture, unique folk architecture, local folklore, mountains and beautiful nature. You can enjoy the magnificent views of the panorama of the Belianske Tatry Mountains all year round thanks to the attraction Walkway through the treetops, which takes you up to a height of 24m by a gentle climb. It ends with a 32m high observation tower, at the top of which you will be surprised by an adrenaline network. You can shorten the way down by using the 67m long dry slide.
The ridge is reached by the year-round 10-seater Gondola Bachledka cable car with a boarding station at the new pedestrian zone. In addition, a 4-chair lift and 5 lifts take you to ski slopes totalling 8km, with night skiing and a ski school. For non-skiers, there is a toboggan run or a floodlit ice rink in Jezersko.
Bachledka children's world offers a snowcamp, snowtubing, mini carousel, in summer you can find a mini-zoo with ponies and sheep, bobsleigh track, trampolines and other attractions.
The Kingdom of the Forest Bachledka is an ecological wooden playground, with educational and fun elements for the whole family.
